29th November 2015, JANDA BAIK
Organized by Action Asia Events, Salomon Action Asia trail run took participants away from the hustle and bustle of the city and into the jungle for a physically and mentally challenging race, which required runners to challenge their personal endurance.
Set with 2 trail distances of 10km and 18km, runners had to endure long distance dirt trails and road, with just a maximum of 2 water stations. Time limit for the 10km is 5 hours, whereby the 18km got 6 hours.
In support of an eco-friendly Malaysia, the “No Cups Concept” was applied at both stations. Water was only given to participants with a bladder, a bottle or a foldable cup.
A Salomon t-shirt was given to participants on a first-come-first- serve basis, along with a runner’s bib and a finisher’s medal at the end of the race.
This event was sponsored by Salomon, Suunto, Machines, Celebrity Fitness, World of Sports, Cherengin Hills Convention & Spa Resort and Running Malaysia as the official media partner.
