Who is Ruben? – He Took The Mountains By Foot; Took The World By Storm

He spent 6 weeks climbing the famous Mt. Everest and 15 minutes before reaching the
peak, he experienced a temporary state of wind blindness. Ruben didn’t get the chance to see the amazing view from the top of Mt. Everest. “I had a banner inside my jacket, I sit down, I took my goggles off and everything is white, I was scared. I’m deathly scared” He added.

This avid hiker was eventually led down by Lahkpa Gelu Sherpa, known for holding a previous world record for the fastest ascends on Mt. Everest, and he verbally assists Ruben who’s having a hard time descending the ladder on his own. Midway they happen to come across an Austrian climber who abandoned his own Everest summit push without hesitation to help them.

However, the only things concern Ruben during that time is the possibility of losing his eyesight for the rest of his life. With the good and bad experiences along with the climb, Mt. Everest gave him a whole new appreciation for life. “It humbles me. I realized life is so fragile. We’re here and then we’re not. We’re lucky if we’ll be here for 80 years. So, make the most out of it. Treat people with kindness, compassion, and love. Because, in times like that nothing matters anymore, rather than being able to see my family again”

Tales Coming From Ruben

When your intention is in alignment with your heart’s true calling, dreams do come true. There’s no mountain too high for Ruben in the name of carrying a dream of ultimately connecting humans from all walks of life in the spirit of peace and unity.

Ruben is not bitten by an irradiated spider to become “Spiderman” or he doesn’t have a superhuman strength and speed either just like “Superman”. He’s not the kind of superhero who can fight against villains and save the world. He just wants to change the world to make it a little better. And the only power he has is inspiring people to fulfil their dreams, and fight against their internal demons. And that power is enough to save you—us.

He’s no Clark Kent or Peter Parker, he’s just Ruben Payan Jr. but he is a Powerful Human.
