Saucony Kinvara 10 x Toshikazu Nozaka

What is your favourite season in Japan? Without a doubt, you just cannot top that feeling when you are in a Japanese spring season. This time around, we are excited to review the Saucony Japan exclusive model, Kinvara 10 x Toshikazu Nozaka.

With great support from the famous Japanese artist, Toshikazu Nozaka, Saucony launched the Kinvara 10 Japan special edition in celebration of Tokyo Marathon 2019. Saucony is among the most distinguished names in running shoes. We are absolutely certain that the Kinvara 10 special edition is a revolutionary update worthy of high praise.

If you haven’t already known, the Saucony Kinvara 10 remains one of the most popular lightweight trainers available.

The green coloured upper inspired from the beautiful green landscape of early spring filled with fresh green pine trees in the modernization of Tokyo which express the traditional atmosphere. The shoes also have a swallow print in the rear part and the insole with the wish of the designer Mr. Nozaka for all the runners to dash through the beautiful landscape with full of joy and excitement.

Featuring an EVERUN top-sole and a flexible EVA+ midsole for a smooth, incredibly energetic ride, the Kinvara 10, with a 4mm offset, is as supportive as it is breathable with the engineered mesh upper. Internal heel pods, a nod to the original Kinvara model, comfortably lock the foot down as the runner’s pace ramps up. Because no two feet are alike, enhancements to the Kinvara 10 include Saucony’s newest fit technology, FORMFIT, a 3D contoured footbed that cradles the foot with three layers of foam for enhanced adaptability and impact absorption.

Saucony added a carved guidance system on the outsole to help with a smooth heel-to-toe transition. Plus, added rubber in key friction areas – the outer heel and inner toe add to the shoe’s overall road life. Additionally, it’s firm, bouncy and light. We felt just as comfortable and smooth on long runs with a heel-to-toe strike.
