Recently, we reviewed the updated Saucony Liberty ISO 2, one of the most responsive and supportive running shoes.
This uptempo running shoe has been updated with an ISOKNIT synthetic knit upper, with a sock-like feel, for increased brethability, structure and security through the midfoot and heel.
In addition to offering substantial energy return and plenty of underfoot protection, the Saucony Liberty ISO 2 is also a stability running shoe with full-length EVERUN midsole.
EVERUN midsole cushioning distributes impact over a larger area than EVA foams, giving you reliable cushioning and resiliency. It is now improved for a smoother, more even feel throughout the stride.
What’s new about the Saucony Liberty ISO 2?
One of the upgraded features of the Liberty ISO 2 is the crystal rubber configuration on the outsole. The durable, grippy, and low-profile Tri-Flex crystal rubber outsole has a continuous decoupling groove and firmer more conventional rubber at the heel and forefoot.
The long groove provides smooth transitions while the firmer medial XT 900 rubber provides the forefoot and heel added stability and durability. With its high durability, the outsole provides increased force dispersion over a greater surface area while also delivering optimal flexibility and traction.
For enhanced stability, the Saucony Liberty ISO 2 has an extended medial post that supplies a wider base of support while the added heel counter helps to guide the foot through landing.
With a 4mm heel-toe offset, 22mm in the heel, and 18mm in the forefoot, this running shoe sports a light and springy feel with a touch of stealth stability to keep you comfortable as the miles rack up.
