Feel the power of Asia’s Premiere Duathlon. This worldwide celebration of athletic prowess draws about 3,300 registered duathletes who took part on the run-bike-run course across Putrajaya. Powerman Malaysia 2017 was divided into these adult categories: Individual or Team Relay Classics which consists of a 10km run, 60km cycle and the final 10km run. And the Individual or Team Short Category in which duathletes run for 5km, pedal for 30km and run the final 5km to the finish line.
With light rain throughout the race that cools down the temperature, athletes became more competitive to strike a podium. Powerman Malaysia provides the ideal platform for Asian athletes to showcase their skills on an international stage. Making it first-of-its-kind, this year’s Powerman Asia Duathlon also introduces the Powerkids category.
