The Magnificent Merapoh Trail 2018

The Magnificent Merapoh Trail 2018 gave participants that unique experience as they ran through the beautiful trail of Merapoh caves and waded through rivers. The 35km, 70km, and 100km of the race were fast courses with less technical sections to cater trail rookies.

Running through Merapoh caves gave you eye-opening insights into at least 85 invaluable limestone hills and bountiful rare species of flora and fauna. The event saw runners overcoming technical difficulties, at the same time, conquering cut-off time at 10 hours for 35km category, 13 hours for 70km category, and 20 hours for 100km category.

Debuted in 2015, TMMT, on its 4th edition, still remained the main objective of the race remained to be for the preservation of national heritage, saving the Merapoh Caves and developing local economy through eco-tourism.
