What is SESO?
SESO, which stands for Save Environment Save Ourselves is a non-profit enterprise that combats food waste and food poverty while doing some charity projects to help those in need and underprivileged such as B40 families, charity homes, homeless, nursing homes and refugees.
There are a lot of people out there, especially the underprivileged and homeless are affected due to the pandemic of COVID-19. To help those in needs, SESO came out with a few projects which are,
-Delivering Boxes of Kindness
-Weekly Food Distribution
-The F Series
[Delivering Boxes of Kindness]
A project which provides raw materials and basic food supplies filled in a box to be delivered to the poors and needy including charity homes and homeless beneficiaries. In addition, basic supplies such as toiletries including shampoo, body wash, sanitizers and even detergent are also included under this project – Boxes of Kindness.
[Weekly Food Distribution]
A serving meals project, distributed to the homeless and underprivileged.
[The F Series]
A newly-launched project named “The F Series” which is their first F product known as F Kombucha, a fermented drink produced from those rejected by grocery stores. Apart from providing nutritious and tasty drinks to the consumers, by launching this product also gives a chance to those unemployed during the pandemic to gain new skills and / or job opportunities.
Each project is done with the help of their partners and sponsors to ensure the underprivileged are supported during the pandemic. Besides providing basic food supplies and meals, this project also gives opportunities to the unemployed to gain new skills and job opportunities.

In order to support SESO Malaysia, we from Japanese Culture Club UTM KL and Japanese Club UTM JB were collaborating to organize an event called Run For Hope 2021.
Run For Hope 2021 or RFH 2021 is a charitable event that aims to aid the people who are affected by COVID-19 pandemic as well as to raise funds for an enterprise or organization that helps the people who are needed during this pandemic hard time. Hence, we are pleased to have SESO Malaysia to become our beneficial partner as they are also helping the victims of COVID-19 pandemic.
This is a virtual charity run where participants could run from their home either on the treadmill, nearest park, stadium or wherever they are, whenever they want.
All of the profits received from Run For Hope 2021 will be donated solely to SESO.

Registration Period: 1st August to 10th September 2021
Running Period: 1st September to 15th September 2021
Event Fee:
Early bird will get a RM5 discount which is RM35 fee with T-shirt, medal, lanyard, e-bib and finisher e-cert. This special price is only limited to 60 participants.
Normal fee is RM40 with package as well. FREE POSTAGE among Malaysia.
Registration Entitlements:
Register for the event and receive a RM5 discount on registration fee and a package (T-shirt, medal, lanyard, e-bib). E-cert will be given only to those who finish the Run.
E-bib will be provided upon registration, which can be shared on your own social media platforms. Tell your friends about the Run and get them to join in the fun too!
