26th July 2015, PENANG
Bone to Run 2015 welcomed about 2,000 participants to Straits Quay Marina Mall for an event, which aimed to raise RM300,000 in aid of the Needy Cancer Patients Fund. This event is organized by Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital, a non-profit hospital committed to making cancer treatments affordable for everyone.

Participants took part in the fun-themed charity run, wearing a yellow t-shirt and a yellow balloon tied to their wrists—yellow being the official colour for bone cancer awareness, and to release the balloons at the end of the run.

This event was a suitable way to unite the community closer together for a good cause. The aim was to not only encourage people to spread cancer awareness, but to also be an inspiration to others and gain support from the world, both financially and emotionally.
