Most fitness trackers live up to their name too accurately when it comes to design. In other words, they can feel out of place with any outfit other than your gym attire.

Fitbit is moving forward with the change by introducing a new Fitbit called Fitbit Luxe. Leveraging from other fitness trackers with its name ‘Luxe’ a fitness-tracking technology and adding a stainless steel casing, slim band, a colorful screen, it’s clear that the Fitbit Luxe was made for those who want equal parts fashion and fitness.

Here’s what you should know about the Fitbit Luxe:

1)Fitbit Luxe is a complete touch screen, with no external buttons on it. The only way to interact with the Luxe is through swiping up from the main screen to show your daily progress and battery percentage, while dragging down allows access to settings and enables the Sleep, Water Lock, and Do Not Disturb modes. Swiping sideways brings you through Notifications, Exercise, Relax, and Alarms. Besides that, the screen is clear and not easily scratched

2)It comes with a silicone wristbands that are comfortable to wear. From a fashion-forward bracelet designed by the effortlessly chic jewelry brand Gorjana to woven bands which are comfortable enough to sleep in, and an accessory for any look.

3)It is water-resistant which makes it usable when exercising outdoors when it’s raining. Also, you can use it for swimming exercises. The Fitbit Luxe is water resistant to 50m and it automatically tracks how long you’ve been swimming.

4) The Fitbit Luxe offers impressive battery life for its small size. After charging for about 2 hours, it can be used for almost 5 days. Of Course, the battery life will vary depending on your usage. If you workout often and keep the Luxe on when you go to bed, it’s more likely your battery life will be shorter.

5)The Fitbit Luxe still has Fitbit’s main health-tracking features, like the ability to track workouts both indoors and outdoors. Furthermore, it can measure breathing, heartbeat rate, and skin temperature. The Luxe can track your daily activity, log up to 20 different types of exercises and record your running pace and distance with the connectivity of your phone’s GPS.

6) The Fitbit Luxe can also connect to your mobile phone and receive alerts and notifications. It can also help to set timers and alarms and support your Do Not Disturb mode to enhance better sleep quality.  As it’s meant to be a fitness tracker and not a smartwatch, it only offers limited text and call functions.

7)Fitbit Luxe is visually striking, compared to most fitness trackers. Its small design and shiny appearance make the Fitbit Luxe stylish and elegant to wear on any occasion.
