Her current training routine consists of a weekly speed, track or tempo run, one long run with a distance of 18-20km a week, and a 10km daily run (five days) for maintenance. She also indulges in swimming at least once a week for around 30 minutes to 40 minutes.
Some of Adele’s favorite core workout routines to maintain her body weight are squats, lunges, box jumps, mountain climbing, two-minute front plank and two-minute side plank on each side of her body. This gives her the training to enhance her strength. It looks like Adele is training to becoming a serious competitor in running events to come, making her a runner to look out for.
She has no intention of quitting the game anytime soon as she sees herself doing this long-term. However, as much of a serious athlete Adele may be, she has proven to be a true Malaysian with her diet principle: Indulge first, diet later. The PUMA athlete isn’t afraid to say ‘yes’ to the delicious temptations to her sweet tooth. Like how kryptonite is the weakness of Superman, our superwoman’s “kryptonite” comes in the form of green tea, rum and raisin ice cream and red velvet cake. This may come as a shocker to lots of you, but Adele doesn’t like chocolates. Of all the sweets that are tempting for girls, chocolate just doesn’t seem to have that appeal to her. As breakfast is the most important meal of the day, Adele’s healthy version of BoC is toasted plain bread, half-boiled eggs, sweet potatoes and a green apple, and she enjoys eating them every single day.
