15 February 2017, Kuala Lumpur – Under Armour introduced the all-new Threadborne technology, a premium innovation platform that houses technologies engineered down to the thread level to provide the most advance athletic solution. The newly designed micro-sized and lightweight threads are intelligently woven together in Under Armour’s new sport apparels and footwear to support the game’s most brilliant players.
The event was held at the rooftop of Intermark Mall in a windy afternoon. During the launch Under Armour also presented twelve Under Armour Malaysia Brand Ambassadors of the year, namely, Peter Davis (mixed martial artist), Linora Low (radio announcer), Nana Al Haleq (fitness model), Kit Mah and Hansen Lee (model and TV host), Atilia Haron (singer), Suhaili Micheline (dance artiste), Nicholas Fung (professional golfer), national basketball players Izran Edika, Kuek, and Ivan Yeo, as well as national swimmer, Welson Sim.
As part of the launch program, guests and brand ambassadors participated in the workout sessions spearheaded by UA ambassadors. The workout is specially organized for participants to experience the new Under Armour apparels made with the new Threadborne technology.
The latest Under Armour Threadborne products are now available in all Under Armour stores and major sport retailers in Malaysia.
