Since the Greenies is a unique concept, why not try the unconventional way of selling the salad, then? Vending Machine is the answer. Vending machine is mobile, easy to set up and does not take up a lot of space.
We can move the machine from one location to another fairly quickly with minimal cost. One of the good things with vending machine was it grab’s people attention because concept wise–let’s admit–this is new to the public eyes. Unlike the usual canned drinks, chocolates and chips, the machine dispensed salad instead. “I’m always fascinated by the capability of a vending machine and the convenience of it” Kelvin added further. Eventually, they considered this uncommon idea as their solution.
Massive Game Plans
Plans are underway as The Greenies is setting up their very first kiosk at Mid Valley Megamall. It will be a very approachable and with a lot of human touch type of kiosk. Built with non-toxic recyclable material, the woody earth-toned kiosk is a good way for us to interact with our customers, Kelvin said. Customers can even test their products at the kiosk as well.
That’s not all. Partnering with multinational companies are currently in the course of action with The Greenies. One of those is the world’s leading cereal company, they tapped Kelvin about a month ago to develop a breakfast menu for The Greenies. A oyster-flavoured sauce specialist, is not lacking behind with two new sauces for The Greenies as well.
“We are very excited and honoured to work on new projects with them, especially companies that big actually took notice of us. It’s really overwhelming” Kelvin added. As of the moment, they are in the midst of developing something with those two. The nearest launching will be somewhere around Christmas and another one will be in New Year. Surely, it’s something we should look out for!

At the vending machines, you have a range of seven different types of salads to choose from. For non-salad eaters, you can start off with The Protein Jar and Insalata Di Pasta. These jars are packed with common ingredients and flavours that are easy to most people. For regular salad eaters Mortar Pestle Pesto, Nice-oise and Sayur Ala Provence are good for you to eat on a daily basis.
The Truffle Mushrooms and Superfoods are The Greenies’ premium salads. For Truffle Mushrooms if you really like the smell of Truffle then you’ll like it, as it is considered the indulgence salad. Superfoods was what Kelvin best recommends for runners. The jar has one of the best and most balanced nutrition in it. These salads are all packed with the right amount of nourishment that is good for your body. You won’t feel too full or too light after eating, just the right amount of what you needed in your body.
Months after they launched this business venture, Kelvin doesn’t stop reinventing and innovating the already good concept they had. Health junkies, better watch out for they are working something out and planning to introduce more types of salad very soon. One of the biggest highlight of this upcoming menu–its boundaryless and limitless, you can go beyond your imagination. Be creative, just like them.
